Summary: On NBC%u2019s live television broadcast across the nation for Hurricane Katrina relief, rapper Kanye West chose not to read from a prepared script, instead choosing to speak his mind and heart.
He stumbled through most of it, on the verge of tears, but what came out of his mouth was a reflection of what the poor and suffering African-American people of New Orleans (who were left behind) are thinking and feeling during this tragedy."
